Composite Fencing, Plastic fencing, Vinyl fence panels

White plastic fence panel
Whichever term you use: composite fencing, plastic fencing, UPVC or vinyl fencing it is the fastest growing segment of the home garden fence market.
Whilst the initial outlay is quite a bit more than a timber fence, the old adage of you 'get what you pay for' comes into play with composite panels.
The key to looking at the cost of something is to look at 'total costs' i.e. what other costs can be associated with doing, or not doing something in relation to a purchase over the time?
When the sun is out in England we want to enjoy our time in the garden either relaxing soaking up the rays with a cool drink, or socialising with friends and family around a barbeque and
admiring the nature in it.
The thought of spending several hours every year or two fence painting and preserving isn't most people's idea of fun. It's a similar analogy to the webuyanycar adverts - you could get a better price (cheaper fence in this instance) but do you want the extra hassle and lost time doing this?
Even after you've completed your painting, it's unlikely the end result will look quite as good as a composite panel or plastic fence panel.
It is a trade off - but for those homeowners who have made the choice, we've never come across any who have had any regrets.
As most composite panels come with matching plastic posts or often metal posts, typically aluminium, you end up with a neat, fully integrated look to your composite fence.

For those of you lucky enough to have a pool or pond in your garden - white plastic picket fences are most popular. The beauty of a plastic fence is that no matter how much water gets splashed on, it doesn't damage the fence or  look aged or tatty over time.
We have a number of composite panel suppliers we work with on a regular basis but new PVC fence panel suppliers are starting up all the time.
So, if you've found a particular plastic panel and post, which isn't one of our regular options which you want in your garden, we are more than happy to quote you on a fit only basis.
Our aim is to ensure you are 100% happy with the final result.

Plastic Composite Panels

Currently the most common options for a composite garden fence panel will be recycled UPVC.
If your budget can stretch to a composite UPVC option the main benefits will be:
  • 15+ year guarantee on materials
  • Minimal maintenance: resistant to mould and algae: no sanding, painting, staining - saving on time
  • Low environmental impact - use of recycled materials, less replacement, less materials used in maintenance
  • Selection of colours including wood effect designs
  • Compatible with concrete posts if just replacing panels if not, metal or composite posts look great.
  • Tough, hard wearing and splinter free - making it a more child friendly option
We're happy to discuss all plastic fence and panel options with you during our survey. Please call us to book an appointment.
