Composite Fence Panels Nottingham

Whichever term you use: composite fencing, plastic fencing, UPVC or vinyl fencing it is the fastest growing segment of the home garden fence market.
Whilst the initial outlay is quite a bit more than a timber fence, the old adage of you 'get what you pay for' comes into play with composite panels.
The key to looking at the cost of something is to look at 'total costs' i.e. what other costs can be associated with doing, or not doing something in relation to a purchase over the time?
When the sun is out in England we want to enjoy our time in the garden either relaxing soaking up the rays with a cool drink, or socialising with friends and family around a barbeque and admiring the nature in it.
The thought of spending several hours every year or two fence painting and preserving isn't most people's idea of fun. It's a similar analogy to the webuyanycar adverts - you could get a better price (cheaper fence in this instance) but do you want the extra hassle and lost time doing this?
Even after you've completed your painting, it's unlikely the end result will look quite as good as a composite panel or plastic fence panel.
It is a trade off - but for those homeowners who have made the choice, we've never come across any who have had any regrets.
As most composite panels come with matching plastic posts or often metal posts, typically
aluminium, you end up with a neat, fully integrated look to your composite fence.

Premium Composite Fences

Premium Composite Fencing Trellis

Our premium composite fence range also has a range of complementing or even contrasting trellis - sometimes referred to as composite screens. These can be added to the top of your fence just the same as a wooden trellis but these have a few more interesting designs and mixing a different colour trellis to composite fence can make for a quite a stunning fence. They can also be used as a normal trellis to provide a surface for climbing plants to cling on to but will last many, many years longer than a wooden trellis and are look much better as a stand alone feature if once your climber dies down over the winter season.

These composite screens can also be included in the bespoke composite gates too - simply arrange a quote for us to measure up and discuss these options with you. The composite trellis's shown below come in two standard sizes (1830mm x 300mm x 18mm) and (1830mm x 900mm x 18mm) - click on the image to zoom in.

  • Here's a great example of how you can mix and match once colour of composite fence panel with a different composite screen colour. In this example our premium silver grey composite fencing range was fitted into existing concrete posts and gravel boards, in both front and back gardens, using concrete posts channels to ensure a perfect fit. It was topped off with a cream leaf screen trellis.

What a transformation to customer's property our premium composite fencing in Sutton in Ashfield made! Some before and after images and a short video showing the transformation to the front garden. The fence and trellis provide a wonderful background from which to showcase the plants and flowers. A composite side gate was also installed to match.

Composite Fence Panels for Concrete Posts

As a growing number of gardens have concrete posts the requests for a composite fencing which is compatible with concrete posts is now becoming a fairly common request. There are some makes of composite fencing which have a depth of panel that can fit into the existing slots in most concrete posts. These are still fairly limited but are the most cost effective option and the example in the image shows an install we did using some grey composite panels which fitted the existing concrete posts perfectly and sat on top of the gravel boards, just as a wooden fence panel would. There are other composite fence panels which will fit into concrete posts and simply use a channel to fit into the concrete post slot which then provide a narrower channel for the composite panels to fit in. Your options will come down to personal taste and budget but we can show you samples so you can choose the options most suitable for you.

If you want to use existing concrete posts and gravel boards but these don't look particularly clean we offer a concrete post and gravel board painting service which will make a massive difference to the overall aesthetics of your composite fence.

    Cheap Composite Fencing Nottingham

As with most things, there are different types and levels from basic through to premium options and the same is true of composite fencing. Whilst cheap composite fencing generally isn't a phrase we're comfortable with as it implies poor quality, we try to provide our customers with choices and options- and like to present possibilities that they may not have initially considered.

When it comes to replacement fencing your choices will depend on budget and also what can or can't be used from your existing fence. If you have had wooden fence posts then it is likely that your posts will need replacing as well as your panels so then you can chose from utilising a new concrete post with a introductory composite fence panel or a premium one to keep post costs down. The other option is to fit new 'linked' composite posts which are made from the manufacturer of the panels for a perfect compatible fit. Most posts which accompany a particular composite fence will either be a coated aluminium post, or a composite material surrounding a steel core bar. Both options provide a fence post which is just as good as a concrete post in terms of strength and longevity but which is generally considered more preferable from an aesthetic perspective.

A little further below you will see photos of the introductory Eco composite fencing which can be used with their own posts or with existing concrete posts:

    Eco Composite Fencing Nottingham

The Eco composite fencing range is an excellent entry level composite fencing, especially if you have existing good quality concrete post but have wooden panels that simply need to go. They will fit into existing concrete posts without the need for any additional channels and then you simply forget about painting or treating your fence for the next 20 years!

The Eco fence panels come in 3 colours walnut brown, graphite grey and natural which is best described as a golden beige. The panels come in both 6ft and 8ft lengths and are a one foot in height, so they can be stacked up to great any fence height as long as they are in whole foot intervals. They also come with small feature opt panels which are either concave or convex so you can have a series of arched top fencing or 'U' top fencing OR you can alternate between then to create a wave effect across your fence.

Eco fence panels are extremely strong and since they don't rot in the same way as wood they can even be used as a more decorative alternative to a concrete gravel board fitted with a wooden panel on top. So if you hadn't previously considered this it's well worth looking at our samples when we come round to quote.

As well as being compatible with concrete posts they also have their own matching composite posts. These can be fitted to solid ground such as concrete, or in soil in exactly the same way as wooden or concrete posts. The 8ft and 9ft posts come with steel inserts, so they are just as strong and long lasting as concrete - however, they will be more expensive than concrete. As a result if you are looking to replace existing wooden posts and panels we can install new concrete posts with eco fence panels to give you the lowest costs composite fencing which means no maintenance!

    UPVC Fence Panels

For those of you lucky enough to have a pool or pond in your garden - white UPVC picket fences are most popular. The beauty of a plastic fence is that no matter how much water gets splashed on, it doesn't damage the fence or look aged or tatty over time.
We have a number of UPVC and plastic composite panel suppliers we work with on a regular basis but new UPVC fence panel suppliers are starting up all the time. So, if you've found a particular plastic panel and post, which isn't one of our regular options which you want in your garden, we are more than happy to quote you on a fit only basis.
Our aim is to ensure you are 100% happy with the final result.
